COLUSA, CA – Investigators say it could take months to determine the cause of death of a postal worker whose body was found floating in an irrigation canal.
Conception “Connie” Johnson, 51, had worked the public counter at the Colusa post office for 13 years.
“She was basically the main lady at the counter all the time,” said customer Michael Acost. “She was the nicest person you’ve ever seen working at a post office.”
Johnson was last seen Sunday leaving Rocco’s Bar and Grill with a man who later returned alone.
