Video: Oklahoma Mail Carrier Accused Of Stealing Money, Gift Cards

MOUNDS, Oklahoma – In hopes of getting money and gift cards, a Green Country postal carrier is accused of stealing thousands of pieces of mail.  Detectives say victims could be in Glenpool, Bixby and Mounds, as well as rural areas of southeastern Creek County and northern Okmulgee County.

Investigators say the woman worked at the Mounds Post Office for several years as a part-time mail carrier and, they believe, for the past six months she’s been stealing mail. Police say the woman delivered mail to at least 1,200 homes in the two days per week worked. Read more

  1. She stole from me and I am livid. We had cards from grandma go missing this month. They never turned up and I had a check that was sent to me that I never received. I only found out that I never received it because this week I got the empty envelope. The inspectors are keeping the check as evidence. Lucky for me I did not happen to need the check. I really feel for the the people who did not get what may have helped them give their kids a good Christmas or birthday.
