MUSKOGEE, OK — Prosecutors say an Antlers postal worker who admitted stealing a package has been sentenced to two years of probation.

Robin Covert, 32, stole a test or “bait” package addressed by authorities to a “Joy Smith” back in June, according to the federal prosecutors’ office in Muskogee.

The former contract letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office later pleaded guilty to embezzlement of mail, prosecutors said.
