September 9, 2015 EL PASO, Texas – The status of a woman hit by a U.S. postal truck is still unknown.

A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after she was struck by a vehicle in downtown El Paso. It happened Wednesday around 3 p.m. at E. San Antonio and Oregon streets.

A witness said he heard a screeching of tires and then a loud bang.

“Her legs were underneath the left front tire of the truck from the torso down, and she was in a laying position,” said a witness.
