RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. – Two teens were arrested on Friday in connection with the attempted robbery of a mail carrier in Riviera Beach on Thursday, said Rose Anne Brown, spokeswoman for Riviera Beach Police.

The attempted robbery happened Thursday morning in the 600 block of West 35th Street, just south of Silver Beach Road.

They have been charged with one count of attempted armed robbery. In addition, one of the teens also was charged with one count of aggravated battery with a firearm.
