Postal Service investigates mail tossed into Norfolk Virginia ravine
NORFOLK (AP) U.S. Postal Service officials are investigating an incident in which a Norfolk man reported a letter carrier threw trash bags full of mail into a ravine.
Mulikul Abdullah says incident happened Tuesday afternoon near his home.
“I was on my way to work. I came out of my house and I saw the mail truck parked on the side of the road. I looked around, and I heard some noise over in the bushes, and I saw the mail lady. She had come back with a little white box, and she put it inside the ruck and pulled the door down. So I went behind her and I saw two bags of mail actually, three bags of mail,” he said.
