LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) A Highland Park man says a surveillance camera caught a U.S. Postal Service worker driving by his home and tossing a package over his fence without ever stopping.
Home security video footage captured the incident at a residence along Avenue 51 and Hub Street at 3:23 p.m. on Sunday, according to resident Christian Riley.
The unidentified driver of the USPS truck is seen slowing down as the vehicle approaches the residence before holding a small cardboard box out of a van window. The driver then tosses the box over the propertys fence, where it bounces a few times on the lawn before coming to a stop.
In a statement, Riley said finding the delivery which he said contained a camera case and accessories was a surprise to him.
