  1. These supervisors are out of control, they abuse the hell out of employees. When you report them, management just ignores the complaints, and then strarts herrassing the f@#$ out of the person that filled the complaint. Management needs to follow postal policy, and procedures instead of fratnizing with employees. Essentially these overpayed shits keep up a lot chaos, and cause the usps millions of dollars a year.

    • As much as you dislike and disparage management, they are humans beings just like you. On a daily basis, they are subjected to unrealistic expectations from leadership. They are harassed on daily telecons and to top it off, haven’t received decent raises in years. They’re abused, overworked and miserable. It’s not that easy to just quit the Postal Service because like all other employees, they have mortgages, car payments and other financial obligations keeping them reporting day in and day out to their “prison.” They are abused by leadership and have to deal with some (not all) lower level troublemakers day in and day out. It’s like a pressure cooker and on a matter of time before they explode. It’s easy to stand there and pass judgment, but until you walk in someone else’s shoes, you really cannot possibly understand how stressed that they are.

      • So are you saying, because a supervisor accepts a job, and their manager treats them like crap, they in turn should treat the people in their units with the same disrespect????? Everyone in the postal service knows before they are certified that there will be telecoms, meetings and unrealistic expectations, you don’t have to quit, you can step down and work side by side with the people you treated like crap….. If you know better, do better

  2. I don’t agree with putting your hands on any woman, but as a fellow postal employee I understand. This same incident happened at my facility, where a supervisor was beaten. Management needs new training. We will not tolerate disrespect or verbal abuse as adults.

  3. I agree that most of our management are an utter disgrace, and most of them should be horse whipped, ….but. ..what this guy did is inexcusable, he needs to go to jail. Words are words, cuss her out, tell her to go to hell, but not beating. Wrong answer, no defense. I’ve seen it all in 21 years, and have not put my hands on a single coworker, even though some richly deserve to be bitch slapped.

  4. This guy seems to have watched to much “rasslin’.” Surprised he didn’t “come off the top rope” on her. I guess he didn’t have a top rope at the time.

  5. Push, push, push until these incidents happen. Becoming
everyday incidents because of the tools and thugs and
their so called new age management style. The thugs and
tools are the root cause of these incidents. Fire them all

    • Regina Todd tripped over stiletto high shoes. She has never worn proper workroom shoes. She got up flailing waving her arms actin’ crazy. Fall hit her head on desk. She’s a fraud.

  6. No one deserves to be beaten with a chair, but how much of the investigation will be directed toward the possibility that he was provoked by the supervisor? “It had nothing to do with race. It had everything to do with the way she treats that employee.”

  7. It would be interesting to find out what may have pushed his “button” or sent him over the edge? No one should ever be attacked in this way no matter what. I have seen first hand things that you wonder when it is going to “happen” reported my concerns but Mngt. will not properly deal with Mngt. & its always the workers. Again, not pointing fingers in the Article printed as that is unacceptable. We are only a little over couple hundred miles from Memphis. We have a current situation ongoing.

  8. He’s probably also a damn lier, too. He claims at the age of 59 to be a Vietnam veteran. That seems highly unlikely, since we were almost totally out of Southeast Asia by the spring of 1973. He’s simply too young. (See Video)

    • 1975 is the last year of the RVN war era. If born in 1956 he could have been 18 in 1974 (using ‘today’ as 2015, not 2016), but add in training time and military delays it would be a stretch for him to get to the war zone in one year’s time. He’s a faker. I was there as a jarhead 68-69 in Northern I Corps. Now THAT will create PTSD. This guy’s a bull..itter.

    • Different in Fairy tell and a jarhead story? Fairy tell began “Once upon a time…..”
A marine story “This is no sh*t ……..”

  9. Let’s wait and hear his side of story. Post office hides many of these stories. There should be a congressional investigation on the deplorable relationship between management and the letter-carrier. They blame us for everything. But they keep getting pay raises and bonuses all the way to upper levels in washington. Washington is a disgrace.
