GLENVILLE, MN — Things are not looking good for the U.S. Postal Service. Leaders are facing a second multi-billion dollar payment that they cannot afford to pay.
In fact, the postmaster general says the agency will miss the $5.6 billion payment due to the treasury today and there is no fix on the horizon. Lawmakers have left Washington until after the November elections.
Meanwhile, the USPS is looking to make changes on the local level around the country.
