BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) – Reggie Bennett was a household name in this community. That’s why so many are asking questions about his suspicious death.

He was known for his warm smile and kind heart.

Friend Jennie Greenwell met Bennett 30 years ago.

“He was invited to a lot of our weddings,” says Greenwell who lives along his route in Bloomfield Twp.

Reginald was a loving father who had much to look forward to – including a wedding of his daughter.

But, the 54-year-old was found dead with wounds to his head and hands, inside his Detroit home on Tracey St. June 25th. There was no sign of forced entry and nothing taken.
