Roanoke, VA – Postal workers held an informational picket in Roanoke Wednesday in an ongoing effort to educate people about an issue they say could spell the end of the postal service.
The workers demonstrated at SunTrust Plaza downtown, next to Congressman Bob Goodlatte’s office.
The postal workers say they want people to understand the bills currently in subcommittee that would repeal a 2006 law, forcing the postal service to pay 75-years-worth of employee benefits in advance.
