ATLANTA — For all the challenges the U.S. Postal Service is facing, trying to compete and stay in business, a homeowner’s outdoor surveillance video will not help.
The video shows how one mail carrier delivered one package in Atlanta on Monday, when he might have thought no one would be watching.
The mail carrier, based that day at the 30306 post office in Virginia Highland, in Northeast Atlanta, displayed an indelicate style of delivery that, at least in this one instance, is a reminder to all — when boxing up anything fragile to send, don’t skimp on the bubble wrap.
The cameras show the mail carrier stopping part way up a staircase that winds around toward the homeowner’s front door, then tossing the package high, over the stairway railing. He watches the package fall, and land with a loud thud at the doorstep several feet away from him. Then he walks down the steps and leaves.

Mailer is responsible for appropriate packaging. Otherwise, PAY for a freight delivery with secure, armed delivery personnel with tailored delivery instructions. Spoiled ass public buffoons!
This is the future of the Postal Service as Downahole see’s it,low paid,no benefits, high turnover CCA’s who don’t give a crap about the job.
Lets be honest, like a previous poster said, “they get thrown around a lot more in the plant.” No excuse, just stating a fact.
looks like a rushed CCA, dam it’s hot as hell in Atlanta, he should be in shorts, no excuse for this, maybe a discussion is the frist step.
I would like to know, is he a regular carrier, or a CCA? A lot of these CCAs are not fit mentally prepared for the job requirements. No wonder we get a bad rap all the time, because of lazy people such as him.
i see parcels thrown around like basketballs in the plant
Tell the homeowners not to go to You Tube and watch how they process parcels. That package was bounced around a lot more than that.
Another LAZY carrier, taking absolutely no pride in his job! Leave an application for Burger King on his case. He would be better suited asking: “do you want that Super Sized” rather than delivering the mail!
