January 2, 2016 BATON ROUGE – On Friday video surfaced of a fight between a group of teens and a mailman in Baton Rouge which led to one teen being arrested, according to police.
The video, posted by BatonRougeCrime on Twitter, appears to show the group of teens surrounding the postal worker and shouting threats. The mailman responds, chasing the teens as they circle him, then eventually gets in his truck and drives away.
The teens are seen kicking the truck in the video as it drives off, and police said during the fight one of them stole the mailman’s phone.
Other people in the neighborhood stopped driving to watch the altercation take place.

Why did he continue to engage these guys? He is no better than them. Even the guy recording the video thinks it’s all funny. Really? I will bet that everyone in the video comes from a fatherless home and has a rap sheet that shows no respect for any kind of authority…BLM? No justice no peace? Etc..give me a break!!
how long did it take before either the mailman or the community called the police while watching and recording this crap on their cell phone?
There will come a day when mailmen will carry more then mace.
Open carry states which most are may deter thugs and thief’s
from stealing people’s mail and add a layer of protection to the
carrier. Big brother would need to approve for this to happen
but just the sight of a “carrying carrier” would make any thug
think twice! Sorry but this is the world we live in. Its time the good
guys are armed too!
When my father drove a 40 ft mail truck and trailer he was issued a gun with his truck assignment but that was fifty years ago
send them all to Palestine…..they need low IQ diversity too!
And this is what the POSTAL SERVICE is turning into. The whole situation is jacked, all civilianset should be arrested and the carrier should be fired for actions unbecoming of the uniform.
What is unbecoming about defending yourself when u are surrounded by a bunch of guys trying to kick your butt?
Thank you too the person who released this video.. No carrier should be treated like that, the man is just doing his job. The post master for that route should suspend delivery to the area for 30 days and let the people pick up their mail at the local Post Office. Maybe when the locals are inconvenienced then they might show respect for the carriers. Every person iv the video should be made to do community service for a year.
I wonder if they would do that to UPS……..after all it is not run by that loser in the white house.
