The postal service needs to be privatized so the incompetent aholes can be made accountable for their screw-ups. There needs to be something to encourage the dumb twits to actually work and not treat people like dirt.
If the postal service is the backbone of our nations backbone – no wonder we are fucked! Fucking charter communications is a better ran machine than usps.
They are incompetent, useless, overly credited, and complete assholes. They know they don’t have to worry about getting fired which makes them more useless. The tracking is a joke. The customer service is nonexistent. The complaint department is basically ran by a blow-up doll.
One fantastic example… I live in SC and had a couch/sofa (pretty heavy) shipped from California through the yellow frieght company. The same day I had a go kart clutch shipped from charlotte NC through usps. Guess which one I got first… yep sofa. So an 18 wheeler drove across the country to deliver a sofa and 7 days after the go kart clutch was shipped from 2 hours away from my home I still have not received it. Pathedic.

Doc u are 100% correct. Union national officers and Management EAS, Postmaster unions, primary concern is to maintain positions whatever the cost with no regard for the long run. Preserving a postal system for working craft employees has no consideration by these self directed pressure groups.

Destroy backbone of America: A real joke by craft and management unions to distort the fact that USPS is a has been in the communication process in America and massive dollar losses could affect their excessive high salaries.
Cost effective operations must be introduced to reduce million dollar losses reported quarterly. Working craft employees that have years to work to be eligible for retirement must voice their opposition to present mode of operations and take a new means to generate revenue and reduce debt. This would be spinal recovery for the long run and would eliminate breaking the backbone of postal system that is now in process. Emergency surgery is necessary to remove cause of monetary loss disease.
