The United States Postal Service confirmed to Eyewitness News it has an “ongoing internal investigation” at its Arsenal branch post office in San Antonio, involving payroll discrepancies.
A spokesperson for the service would not give any other statement but the president of the National Association of Letter Carriers Alamo Branch 421 gave a little more information.
Tony Boyd, president of the union’s local chapter said he knows two postal employees are on administrative leave after he and a union steward brought irregularities in postal employees “ring times” to the attention of the local postmaster and regional director.

The two being investigated are two of the favorites of the Postmaster and Area Managers, so they will be cleared of all wrongdoing and returned to duty. It will all be blamed on the 204Bs that have already been returned to craft.

That isn’t the first time. There was a class action case that went to Federal court concerning payroll fraud by lots of supervisors and postmasters trying to screw workers out of their pay by falsifying clock rings and trimming overtime work hours.
You can bet the Southern district is behind the fraud. Federal law enforcement should be brought in and charges filed immediately. When will Washington finally understand just how crooked and inept management for the most part is?
