Update on driver from Jerome Pittman:
The driver has 3 broken ribs, a shoulder injury, and multiple cuts and bruises, but is otherwise doing OK.
During my visit with him this morning, he was under heavy medication for pain but was very disturbed because he feared that the holiday parcels would not reach their destinations as scheduled.
MILLBRAE (KRON) — A United States Postal Service big rig overturned and blocked a Highway 101 off-ramp in Millbrae Friday morning.
This big rig was traveling from San Francisco to Burlingame when it overturned for an unknown reason, Ruiz said.
The driver of the big rig, a USPS employee, was transported to Stanford Hospital with injuries that appear to be non-life threatening.
The big rig was carrying letter class mail, parcels, and ‘flats’ in containers, according to Ruiz.
Some of the mail spilled out onto the road, however, USPS crews were able to retrieve all the mail.
No mail was reportedly lost or damaged, Ruiz said.

Thank you sir for the update. I am glad that his injuries were not worst.
Hopefully all things will come out as they where intended to happen.
I did not catch if you were his boss, or friend, or both. Thank you for
trying to help at a hard time Jerome!.
