A new USPS video describes the changes that are part of the Postal Service’s Priority Mail simplification.
Newly-designed Priority Mail boxes will prominently display product features such as tracking, insurance and available pickup. Boxes also will advertise the availability of date-specific delivery estimates that inform customers how quickly their package will be delivered.
A new Priority Mail Express box will arrive as part of the renaming of Express Mail to Priority Mail Express. The renaming is intended to encourage more customers to take advantage of express service, which includes a money back guarantee, tracking, $100 of insurance and a delivery commitment of noon or 3 p.m.
The video is part of an effort to inform employees of the July 28 changes to expedited products that will add to their value and make USPS more competitive in the shipping marketplace.
