WICHITA, Kansas — Scott Fryar is just one of many living in the 200 block of N. Joann who received a notice from the U.S. Postal Service last week.
The notice informed residents that mail delivery services for the block has been suspended.
Kelli Cunningham is the Supervisor of Customer Support for USPS. She tells KSN News a mail carrier had multiple incidents with a loose dog that hindered their ability to safely deliver the mail.
At this time residents will either have to rent a P.O. box, put in a curbside mail box, or submit a change of address in order to continue receiving their mail.
The postal service says the change in delivery is permanent.
