STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) – A U.S. Postal Service truck spilled part of its load all over Hall Road, near Schoenherr Road, Monday morning.

Letters littered the busy intersection, near Lakeside Mall.

Postal officials were called in to help clear the scene and clean up the mail. By about 6 a.m., the roadway was mostly clear and morning traffic was again flowing.

The truck’s driver couldn’t explain exactly what had happened.
