BLOOMINGTON, Wis. — A rural Bloomington man was arrested Wednesday on a charge of disorderly conduct after he got in a dispute with a rural letter carrier.
On September 17, 2014 at 12:30 p.m., the rural Bloomington Postal Carrier arrived at the residence of Darrel Mish, 49 of Bloomington, to deliver two packages. Mish became upset with the rural carrier when he was informed there was postage due on the two packages. Mish started yelling and cursing profanities at the postal carrier and threw a coffee mug and a cell phone at vehicle on the property.
Mish paid postage on one of the packages and on the second, he punched the package several times, causing damage to the package and item inside. Mish opened the rear door to the postal carrier’s vehicle and threw the package inside. Again, Mish yelled some profanities to the postal carrier as she was leaving his property.
Mish was arrested at his residence by sheriff’s deputies for disorderly conduct and transported to the Grant County Jail.
