According to police, around 3:00 P.M., a 21-year-old Post Office worker was shot in the ear while delivering mail near the intersection of East 25th and German street.
At the scene, the victim said he was walking down steps of a home and heard a loud pop, then felt something running down his neck.
The victim says, he realized he had been shot and called 911.
The police say they think a piece of shrapnel may have gotten stuck in his ear.
He was taken away on a stretcher to be treated at UPMC Hamot, with non-life threatening injuries.
Erie police are investigating.
It is a good thing this postal carrier was not working in Salt Lake City, Utah. He would have been disciplined by the Chaus family for having to file a workers compensation form out. Out here they think they own the USP because nepotism is crazy in the main plant in SLC Utah as there are 4 brothers and there wives who are in top management positions that promote only within the family and tried to fire the injured workers or harass them till they quite. Same as everywhere but here it is one whole stupid family of them.
issue glocks to all us postal letter carriers……….free ammo from govt stock of billions of rounds. letters carriers in moscow, russia pack heat, why not in usa?
