The USPS corporate Facebook page has a new “Shipping Tools” application that lets users track packages and look up ZIP codes without leaving Facebook.

The Online Development Team and Corporate Communications developed the new application to be used as an additional access point for customers who use Facebook.

Customers can go to the Shipping Tools application by clicking on a tab at the top of the USPS corporate Facebook page.

Employees can get access to social media on work computers through eAccess if they have a business reason for it, and also with manager’s approval. The official USPS social media policy, which can be found online at the Postal Service Policy Net Website, includes important guidelines for professional use.

Employees are encouraged to visit these sites even if they don’t have an ACE computer or access to one at work.
