A postal worker, allegedly drunk on the job was arrested in Vernon, Connecticut Wednesday afternoon.
Vernon police were called about 1 p.m. by someone who thought the postal employee delivering mail in the Olsen Drive and Valerie Drive neighborhood appeared intoxicated, according to a news release.
The suspect, a 55-year-old Vernon man, did not pass a field sobriety test, police said. Officers also found bottles of alcohol in his vehicle.
