Kilgore, Tx (KETK) — Wagon Wheel Road resident Joanie Wheeler says her and her neighbors are having a difficult time with mail delivery.

“We don’t get mail due to an aggressive dog situation..they won’t deliver mail out here.”

Joanie and Jeff Wheeler are just one frustrated family out of several.

But, USPS Spokesman McKinney Boyd says the Postal Service is simply protecting their employees.

“We have to take every necessary precautionary measure to protect our letter carriers.”

Jeff Wheeler says dogs roam on every street in Greenwood Ranch.

“There’s not a leash law..and that’s why people move out here..dogs come and visit..we don’t have trouble with dogs around here.”
