Personal, handwritten cards. Sealed, stamped and mailed. All from your iPad.
Apple discontinued the iPhone app ” Cards” which allowed users to create “personalized greeting cards with their own text and photos and have them delivered by First-Class Mail to any address in the world.” But Apple released an app earlier this year for iPad that allows users to send real, handwritten cards. With Felt Cards, you can use your finger or a stylus to write out a personal message for your card. Felt Card users can also write out the address so that the recipient can see your personal touch as soon as the card arrives. Simply choose from one of the available designs, write your message and address the envelope the person you wish to send it to. Heres a video demonstrating the Felt Card app, and Apple’s description:
Send real, handwritten cards. Sealed, stamped and mailedall from your iPad.
Use the Felt app to compose and send a handwritten card in the mail. The real mail. Just select one of our many original card designs, hand write a personal message, and address the envelope to a friend or loved one. We then professionally print your handwriting on premium Mohawk card stock, seal it in a kraft paper envelope, add the stamp and pop it in the mail.
Felt cards are only $3.99, including postage. Its a whole lot of love sent from your iPad.
