2015 USPS Plant Consolidation Schedule
Updated 4/3/2015 – – USPS Network Rationalization Consolidation Phase II-2015. List of postal facilities that have changed move date.
USPS announced its latest list of last minute “public” changes to the Phase II-2015 USPS Network Rationalization Consolidation list. These changes affected Cape Girardeau, MO P&DF and Paducah, KY P&DF move dates. Augusta, GA and Norfolk, VA facilities move dates changed just last week has been changed again. Approximately 21 facilities have had their move dates changed to “To Be Determined” (TBD) or “Not Applicable” (N/A), 4 facilities move dates changed to an earlier or later date and 9 facilities removed from April consolidation schedule ( 21 facility actions are still scheduled)

If you said let’s save money by having New York City’s mail processed in Boston people would look at you and ask if you were nuts.
With some of these closures mail will now be processed at plants which are as far away from the closed plants as New York is to Boston……Hmmm?
I left the USPS not under good terms, I had to retire under medical conditions. They made it so hard to get my retirement after 34+ years of service used all my saving to pay for bills. They have no clue of how to manage routes, stations, or plant’s. The people with knowledge were ran out because they questioned there acts and promoted girl friends or boy friends or family members with no knowledge of the system. Yes I had to spend my savings and had to retire.

It’s no wonder the public thinks this organization is a joke. Either keep the plants open, or close them- one or the other….. this going back and forth only makes things worse
Erie Pa. To Rochester NY……. A 3 hour trip one way on a good day…. Talk about delayed mailed….
I may work in this dump…..but I use UPS and FDX……….I like a winner!
I understand your sentiments but using them is only hurting us not mgmt
besides if you use them you pay a lot higher rates!
Akron, Ohio into Cleveland should be delayed and eventually stopped for good. If allowed to happen, it will be a disaster. Thank you Sherrod Brown for doing nothing to try to stop this disaster.
