With a heat advisory, and temperatures feeling well above 100 degrees, residents are concerned that the Hampstead post office on Dan Owen Drive has not had properly working air conditioning in almost five weeks.

“The letter carriers that are out all day, when they come back in it’s hot and they have to keep working and they get no relief from the heat all day long,” said Cathy Boles, a Hampstead resident
