Martha Stewart is appearing on Steve Harvey’s TV show this month to tout the benefits of shipping with USPS.

During one “Martha Stewart’s Homemade Gifts” segment, Stewart and Harvey created a pair of socks and bath salts and packed them in a holiday-themed Priority Mail box.

Customers concerned about lost items can take comfort when shipping with the Postal Service, Stewart said. “With USPS Tracking and text alerts, you can check the status of your package whether you’re at home or on the go.”

Said Harvey: “When you’re ready to give, USPS is ready to go.”

On her site, Stewart also shows how to organize wrapping and shipping supplies and encourages viewers to visit usps.com to get free holiday Priority Mail Flat Rate Boxes and request a Package Pickup.

Stewart returned to Harvey’s show Dec. 12 for another USPS-sponsored segment on gift wrapping. She’ll demonstrate how to bake and ship cookies in a segment scheduled to air Monday, Dec. 15.
