Arizona District’s training program offers CCAs hands-on experience before they’re assigned to deliver mail.
August 4, 2015 Arizona District has strengthened training for city carrier assistants (CCAs), employees who fill in for regular carriers on their routes and perform other mail delivery and collection tasks.
The program offers newly hired CCAs hands-on experience before they’re assigned to a unit to deliver mail.
“[The curriculum] has greatly improved the retention rate, safety and efficiency of new CCAs,” said Arizona District Complement Coordinator Michelle Caggiano.
Plans call for the district’s best practices to be incorporated into national training programs, part of the Postal Service’s ongoing efforts to invest in workforce development.

Well this is a load of crap!
My son was a CCA, quit, 2 weeks later station manager calls him on phone and asks him to come back and train new CCAs and she’ll pay him, with her own money. I pretty sure that’s not an approved method of managing.
