The U.S. Postal Inspection Service is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect who threw acid at a postal worker. The incident happened Friday afternoon, Jan. 15, on Socorro Road near Fortner Avenue in Raleigh. Postal inspectors say the victim was sitting in her vehicle when the suspect approached and threw acid in her face, causing serious burns.
