BOISE — The holiday season is the peak season at the United State Postal Service, but have you seen what goes into getting the mail out?
On Tuesday night, KTVB was allowed into the postal processing facility on South Cole Road in Boise. This is the first time in more than a decade that a camera has been allowed inside.
The plant covers all of processing from New Meadows to Burley, and about 2.2 million pieces of mail goes through the center each day.
