MIAMI, FL – A dog attacked a postal worker Tuesday afternoon in Miami, a U.S. Postal Service spokeswoman said.

The dog, believed to be a pitbull mix, attacked the woman in the 2100 block of Southwest 24th Terrace.

USPS spokeswoman Debra Fetterly said the employee was bitten on the arm or hand and taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center.
