  3. i have been a carrier for 28 years..you guys have no memory..my route is almost 8 on the street and over 1 hour in office…some days i haVe undertime …no mail…that is why they keep adding on to our routes and getting rid of some..we cant go on delivering bulk mail on saturday..i hope all boxes go to the street asap

  4. Exactly! “mail” is now nothing but bulk rate advertisements that mailers pay pennies for and the PO pays me too much for. It’s ridiculous. We deliver a convenience, nothing more. It is no longer a necessity.

    Come on 5 day and come on EARLY OUT!!!

  5. Mikey and Sandy I wonder do either of you work for the postal service ?
    I know i do and where you get the indea there is no mail and that it should be done in three days a week is ridculus,the mail has increased for me since the mail count ended of course ,one of the problems is that alot of this mail is bulk rated mail which is being mailed at pennies a piece ,the prefunding of retirees,and the absolute waste in the upper levels of managment ..
    i,m still working the same hours at 6 days a week for less money than i was making 5 years ago .my medical premiums have increased by triple ,my taxes have increased ..so you two have no idea what your talking about at all..

You will discover what real work is. In the meantime just talk tough and cower behind your computer screen all day. You know nothing about what letter carriers do!

  7. How does the Postal Service make a 100 million operating profit last quarter (before the pre funding is thrown into the mix) if there is no mail?

  9. Hey Nick get a clue……hard working people @ the P.O is your code word for a bunch of worthless slugs doing nothing more than “gaming” a failed system……..on a daily basis. What an embarrassment!

  13. mikey ate to much of life’s cereal and he isn’t thinking clearly. mikey should know 80% of the problem in the USPS is a pre-funding for future employees that will never be hired. mikey should also know the retirement fund is over funded as well. mikey isn’t business savvy as well because every intelligent person knows you don’t close the door to revenue.

    mikey should expect donahue to trim his staff by 25% which will save millions.
