11/14/17 – Woman paid $51.65 to insure the shipment of this diamond ring to Jacksonville. She says it was stolen from the box, but now USPS won’t honor her claim.
Letters from USPS said they denied her claim because the appraisal of the ring, documenting its $4,000 value, is dated about a week after the shipping date

Crazy thing is they will not pay your claim but wasted billions of dollars yearly with the uneducated management at all levels
I don’t believe that lady. she’s running a Donald trump scam.
My Mama says, stupid is as stupid does.
WOW! FAKE INSURANCE!! WAIT A MINUTE. Huh! FAKE MANAGEMENT! WHERE OH WHERE DOES ALL THE MONEY GO???
Postal insurance is the biggest scam in America. The PO
does everything in their power to deny claims. These
ripoffs occur everyday nationwide. Most people get so
frustrated with the system that they just give up, kind
of like what the toolbags do to the employees. Fire Them All.
How are those new delivery standards working Meghen?
Registered Mail is a Priority class. Registered mail is considered first class/ Priority (technically) before the extra service is applied.
Why was the $4000 ring shipped Priority?? It should of been sent Registered Mail.
Biggest waste of money people when will the public learn that anything of value should be mailed fed ex
They will do anything to get out of paying up for insurance. and who does the customer have to turn to? the news media and or their local us congressperson.
Sounds like a scam to me.
