RANCHO CORDOVA — A piece of mail being delivered — it happens more than 457 million times every day in America.

But on Tuesday, robbers delivered letters and bills into their own hands in Rancho Cordova at gunpoint.

“This is with a gun involved, daytime, during the daytime. It’s scary,” said Burak Topuz.

After nine years on the corner of Pinoche Peak and Montauk Ways, Topuz can’t believe someone would come after his mailman.
