11/18/2016 MILWAUKEE Signed, sealed, delivered and robbed. A mail carrier tried to deliver two packages but gets robbed but the thieves didnt get away.
Those near Arlington and Warren say the robbers picked the wrong guy to mess with. And the robbers can now face federal charges due to what was inside those packages.
Neither snow, nor rain can stop the mail, and on Milwaukees east side neither can a pair of robbers.
Milwaukee police confirm Thursday morning, November 17th, two men came up to the mail carrier and grabbed a package he was delivering.
Witnesses say the mailman took off after one of them, tackling the teenager in Kelsey Lambs backyard.
I just saw these two men going back and forth. One was a mailman and he was screaming 911 so I actually called 911, said Lamb.
Sources tell FOX6, in addition to the robbery, there was another reason the robber wanted to get away. Inside the package postmarked from Las Vegas, were drugs. Federal officials were called to the scene to investigate.

I LOVE this guy – I am a carrier and its not an easy job especially when we get criticized all the time but being followed and robbed makes me angry and us old timers don’t like it when others mess with our customers on our routes…we always have our eyes and ears wide open to our surroundings and the people we serve. Good job!
No he didn’t get written up and didn’t deviate. However, I don’t recommend doing what he did since the threat of a weapon and retaliation by whomever sent the package is very real. He works two cases over from me.
Bravo must have been veteran carrier.
mailman will get suspended for working unsafely and arrested for delivering drugs
with mismanagement being what is these days. It is hard to say. J is
right thought, had to be a veteran carrier. The old school carriers always
got the job done!.
I was proud of the carrier, and all the public support he received just doing
the good job he does every day!. Some people would be surprised if they
knew how much it takes to do his job.
Did he get written up for unsafe act and deviating from his route?
